I have the same question, a year later... I hope you are still checking your blog. Did you use a stock motorcycle wheel, with a special spindle? Or did you use something bigger for your hub and spindle, considering the one-sided mount? Great project by the way... beautiful concept, wonderful and clever execution! Rich.
